It's like an independent winning the primaries.

The only independent single owner operated dj service that made the best of list in Michigan was Michigan Wedding DJ (formerly known as Boogie brothers Procustions). The rest were the larger companies with more polling power. It seemed against all odds to have even made the list. Apparently my brides spoke up!

My year of recognition. In 2007 I received a call from a good friend who owns a large wedding services business here in Michigan. He said, "Dan, I want to congratulate you before anyone else does. You made the Knot's Best of DJ's in a national survey of brides. In fact, it wasn't just the top in Michigan it was the top 2 in Oakland County."

Yes if you want the direct personal relationship only an independent dj service can offer. If you like to be able to reach your dj directly with a question any day of the week (except Friday & Saturday Nights). It's also important if you like the idea of sharing your vision with the exact person that will be there for you on your special day to see it through.

"I would absolutely hire Dan again for another event..."

Dan was the DJ at our wedding and did an incredible job. He had a few challenges on name pronunciations as my husband is Indian (as well as 2 of his groomsmen and, obviously, his parents). In fact, the entire wedding party was taking bets prior to our introductions at the reception on how their names would be mispronounced. As expected, all names were pronounced perfectly.

He did a great job of reading the crowd and keeping the dance floor full. Dan remained extremely professional throughout the entire night, helping to create exactly what we wanted for our reception. I would absolutely hire Dan again for another event and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ.
